Our journey began in 1993 with the establishment of Marks Corporation, dedicated to the design and manufacture of innovative electronic products. Built on engineering excellence and an uncompromising commitment to quality, we laid a strong technical foundation that continues to define who we are today.

In 1996, recognising the growing importance of electronic security, we entered the surveillance industry during its pioneering years, working with Black & White camera technologies before the market transitioned to colour and digital imaging. As the industry evolved, so did we—becoming one of South India's leading importers and distributors of surveillance solutions from China, Taiwan and Korea.

Under Mark Technologies Private Limited, we proudly became the first company to import and distribute Hikvision products across South India, establishing regional distribution offices in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This milestone positioned us among the pioneers of India's professional surveillance industry.

The Birth of a New Vision

Around 2005, we expanded into two exciting domains—Luxury Home Theatres and Home Automation. While both complemented one another, we quickly realised that each demanded a completely different depth of expertise.

Rather than trying to do everything, we made a conscious decision to master one.

Our entire focus shifted towards designing and engineering world-class private cinemas.

Coincidentally, this was also the period when immersive audio formats began transforming the cinematic experience worldwide. We had the privilege of learning directly from Wilfried Van Baelen, inventor of immersive audio technology, Founder of Galaxy Studios, and Founder of Auro Technologies, gaining first-hand knowledge from one of the pioneers who shaped this revolutionary format. We further expanded our expertise in Dolby Atmos through specialised training with the experts behind its development.

This rare exposure allowed us to understand immersive entertainment from its very origins—not merely as system integrators, but as engineers who appreciate the science, acoustics, and artistry behind truly exceptional cinematic experiences.

The Cinespa Experience

More than a decade ago, we created one of India's most advanced demonstration facilities—a reference-grade Experience Centre built around an AES digital audio architecture, a level of engineering precision that remains exceptionally rare even today and is found in only a handful of demonstration facilities worldwide.

Even after more than eleven years, the engineering behind our Experience Centre continues to remain ahead of its time.

Today, Cinespa 2.0 represents the next evolution in luxury residential technology—an immersive destination where clients experience all three immersive audio formats, AES digital audio, reference-grade private cinema, intelligent automation, and luxury living solutions before making their investment.

The latest evolution introduces our Infrasonic Experience.

While the human ear typically hears frequencies from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, infrasonic frequencies extend below 20 Hz. These ultra-low frequencies are not heard—they are felt. Reproducing them accurately requires extraordinary engineering, specialised loudspeakers, immense power, and a room designed to control and sustain such energy.

At Cinespa, clients can experience frequencies as low as 15 Hz—a level of infrasonic performance that very few private cinema demonstration facilities anywhere in the world can authentically reproduce.
